These are photos I took at Worcester Art Museum's 24 hour comic challenge this past Saturday. I arrived at the start and stayed for 8 hours. I finished 3 pages of a larger piece I'll continue to work on, so I didn't stay true to the 1-page-per-hour challenge, but that wasn't really my goal. I just wanted to put in a solid work day, away from the distractions of my studio. And the WAM 24-hour challenge provided just that. It was wonderful to be holed up with other comic artists and pals, working quietly away all day...

Intensely and quietly focused.
Congrats to all that completed the challenge! |
